Very very addictive, this game is. I absolutely love the music. Essentially the game is you "catch" the shapes that comes with the music by moving your mouse around. No clicking or scrolling needed.

Finally, after two months of lazying around and procrastionating, I finished my new blog layout. It's quite a tiring job for me really, as I now has no other way of changing my font colours and type other than going to html and find out the codes, then change it.

Now don't ask me how to change into something like in this blog's, I'm tired looking at "div"s and "margin-border"s, and I don't intend to look at it again for a few months at least.

Well, I have no more excuses to procrastinate on posting, do I? ^^’
I actually have this drafted since February, along with the previous post, but never have the heart to finish it..... *blah blah blah excuses excuses excuses*

Anyway, the third day... The third day... Well, it all began when I saw this sphere of you....

Nah! It all begins when I was rendered awake by my cousins' (and brother's) noisy snoring. It was about 4.30am or so. I then decided to randomly repeatedly click on the remote control. As I clicked on, they finally decide to wake their lazy bums and shimmy towards the bathroom to prepare themselves for sunrise stalking (That's how I name it, since everyone stalks it ==').

Anyways, when they're done, we shimmied our way through the darkness and predawn breeze. As we reach the sands, we found ourselves totally immersed in darkness (That is, no light, no fire, no nothing.). Pic time.

The sun found us out. It hid behind the clouds all the time. ToT

We actually had a match of beach ball not long after breakfast. I pwn’d in serving. ^^ Sadly, no one brought their cameras with them. T.T
We eventually tag teamed with 3 guys from Uzbekistan. If anyone wants to know, it's around Afghanistan and Kazakhstan (Central Asia). Anyways, they had a camera and asked my cousin to take photo for them. We had language issues though. We couldn't get their e-mail... T.T

Ok so on third day of CNY
Me and my family ~~plus cousins plus their families~~ went to Kuantan.
Three epic families,
Two epic night time,
And an epic trip since 2006...

On the way there... I saw...

Economic replacement of solar blinds - newspapers du jour.

Excuse me? Meet the mother what?

Anyways, we got to the resort at about 3pm (or was it 4? Darn. I couldn’t remember). Guess what? Swiss Garden got upgraded to 5 stars now. Although, I can’t see any difference in terms of service… *wipes sweat on forehead*

After that we were just hanging around the poolside and such until it’s time to go for dinner.

*skips dinner part coz nothing special enough to talk about*

After dinner we went to palm beach (assuming that’s its name). My, wasn’t it windy? I almost can’t stand still on the ground (that’s an overstatement but you get the point). Anyways, it’s like a pasar malam there. Lots of souvenirs, accessories and on-the-spot portraits to be sold. There’s a McD and KFC restaurant too.

Uncle McD? Can you turn and look at the camera instead?

After a while, we decided to wrap up for the day. So we got back to the resort. And started gambling with poker (not the illegal sort, just the loser drinking beer we poured). Then I found something, I can drink the most without getting red-faced in all my cousins and siblings. XD *ahemnotsomethingtobeproudofahem*

Google Chrome

Launched at 3rd September, me trying it out immediately after is purely coincidental.
Well, I clicked google.com and saw the link down there. o.O
I was using FF3 before I tried GC. I hate IE.

Installer

Nuff said?

My Take: Massive fail. I hate installer that does not install the software, but instead download it THEN install. I mean look at FF, Opera and even IE7's installer. They are standalone, meaning that even if the PC is not connected to the internet, it can be installed.

One box for everything

Web search. Web history. Address bar. Suggestions as you type. One unified box serves all your browsing needs.

My Take: This is VERY cool. Ever hated having to enter search terms in a separate edit box in the browser? Not any more, all the features are integrated into the single omnibar.

New Tab Page

Every time you open a new tab, you'll see a visual sampling of your most visited sites, most used search engines, and recently bookmarked pages and closed tabs.

My Take: Never really found a use for it. There doesn't seem to be a way to configure this on or off but hopefully some day there will be an "about:blank" option for the new tab page.

Application Shortcuts

Use web apps without opening your browser. Application shortcuts can directly load your favorite online apps.

My Take: This feature has been available in FireFox for some time so nothing earth shattering here.

Dynamic Tabs

You can drag tabs out of the browser to create new windows, gather multiple tabs into one window or arrange your tabs however you wish -- quickly and easily.

My Take: This is pretty cool. There have been times I've wanted to re-organize my 30-tab browser session into a couple of windows and this would be a very easy way to do it.

Crash Control

Every tab you're using is run independently in the browser, so if one app crashes it won't take anything else down.

My Take: Not sure how I feel about this one. Each tab runs it's own process and already I've got 4 processes going each at about 30MB or memory usage. How is this going to scale for the 30+tab user. I like the crash protection but splitting windows up across process boundaries might be a better option unless they can reduce the memory footprint on each tab process.

Incognito Mode

Don't want pages you visit to show up in your web history? Choose incognito mode for private browsing.

My Take: This feature ROCKS! Ever worried about clicking on that link that takes you to some occult website that would bug your super religious parent? Worry no longer, with Incognito mode, pages viewed will not appear in the browser history and they won't leave any other traces. Not that I would need that feature though...

Safe Browsing

Google Chrome warns you if you're about to visit a suspected phishing, malware or otherwise unsafe website.

My Take: Again, this is in all the other mainstream browsers out there so it's par for the course.

Instant Bookmarks

Want to bookmark a web page? Just click the star icon at the left edge of the address bar and you're done.

My Take: This will likely save the speed-bookmarker some time, but since I rarely create bookmarks I'm not sure how it will impact my day to day experience.

Importing settings

When you switch to Google Chrome, you can pick up where you left off with all the bookmarks and passwords from your existing browser.

My Take: Again, par for the course. They needed to do this to get folks to use it.

Simpler Downloads

No intrusive download manager; you see your download's status at the bottom of your current window.

My Take: This is another one that is awesome in my opinion. I HATE the downloads window with a passion so this will likely be a nice feature to avoid that extra popup hitting me in the face every time I download and finishing download a file.

Developer Tools

Included in the menus, are the developer options of "View Source", "Debug Javascript", "Javascript console", and "Task Manager".

My Take: Since they wrote their own Javascript engine for this release, they better darn well have a Javascript debugger in there. The Task Manager (Shift+ESC) is a nice little feature that will show you the memory usage for each component in the Chrome environment (windows, tabs, plugins, etc). If you are big into stats, then check out the "about:memory" shortcut where you can get all the memory details of each of the tasks. With all this, it still falls way short of the WebDeveloper plugin for FireFox. Until more debugging tools come into play, it'll be hard to pry me from FireFox.

Configuration

The browser was built with simplicity in mind and there are only a very small set of configuration options to worry about.

My Take: In the configuration window there are 3 tabs with only a handful of settings total such as proxy server settings, search engine defaults, password preferences, and download locations. I wouldn't cared about it much but I'm an avid customizer. So, no stars from me.

Final Thoughts

The best features by far are the Incognito Mode, Omnibar, and the new download manager. Oh, and it's pretty snappy to boot. But, to get me to switch full-time, there'll have to be some more developer tool integration. But, keep in mind that this is a beta project so I have high hopes that FireFox will finally have met it's match. But overall, Google Chrome surprised me. Fast, Simple, Lite.

A writer should not annoy half of his readers by using gender-specific language.

Always finish what you star

Avoid overuse of ampersands & abbreviations,etc.

Analogies in writing are feathers on a snake.

Always avoid annoying alliteration.

Always pick on the correct idiom.

A writer must not shift your point of view.

Avoid clichés"like the plague-they're so old hat.

Be more-or-less specific.

Consult the dictionary frequently to avod mispeling.

Comparisons are as bad as clichés.

Do not use, unnecessary, commas.

Don't repeat yourself and avoid being repetitive.

Don't use no double negatives. The double negative is a no-no.

Don't indulge in sesquipedalian lexicological constructions.

Don't overuse exclamation marks!!!

'Don't use unattributed quotations.'

Exaggeration is a million times worse than understatement.

Go around the barn at high noon to avoid colloquialisms.

It is recommended that measures be taken to ensure that the length of sentences is not excessive and the complexity of said sentences is reduced.

One-word sentences? Eliminate. Always!

Proofread Carefully to see if you any words out.

Take the bull by the hand and avoid mixed metaphors.

Went to pasar malam yesterday. Nothing much to describe, except for a stall (Well not exactly a stall, but who cares!), which sell these extremely cute flat things, comes in all styles and colours. Here's a picture of it.

So it's a wallet, not uncommon at all, but the special thing about it is it can be opened both sides, left, and right. Pic!

Yeah. The straps tied the two pieces together. And they form an X when the wallet is snapped close. So that the two cover of the wallet doesn't come off, and to easily put money inside.
Showtime!

The night was terrific.
There were songs, a sketch, lucky draw, and a hell lotsa events.
The sketch was extremely comical, though a few technical problems,
but overall, it was entertaining.

Dr. Goh opened the night singing When You Say Nothing At All,
earning him an enormously huge applause and a few whistles here and there.
The crowd even sang with him (as backing singers, lol)
Then Mr. Franklin sang also, one of the oldies, Down by The Riverside.
They were fantastic.

The best part was probably the lucky draw.
With an iPod Shuffle on the grab,
Everyone was tense when they announced the winning number.
Mechell won the rocking babe, and oh my...
Zen shuffled to get the iPod Shuffle for her,
Nice wit, even nicer guy.

Me? I sang Over The Rainbow.
It was crappy, my opinion.
I can hardly hear what Charlotte played, even she can't hear it herself.
I wonder how the others made it through.
Hmm...

The concert ends about at 10.40pm,
40 minutes past the time it was supposed to end.
That's waaaay too long off-timing.
Maybe next time it will be better......

If it's from a later sem's student body, well..
Maybe not.

This whole month had been really hectic.

Firstly I've got audition for singing, got accepted,
and need to perform on the 27th this month.
Then there are the assignments I need to pass up,
successively, consecutively, constantly.
Not to forget presentations (Yes, with "s") and counseling sessions.
